Welcome, March
on light
where is the light getting in?
- a small cluster of candles, throwing the smallest sphere
- a rather ugly reading lamp, on the table by the couch
- the morning sky, hinting of what’s to come
- you, when you see me unexpectedly
- ‘I love your coat!’ in a queue, to a stranger
- shimmering, glistening, sourdough with butter and honey
just now I can only think of six,
you consider the others, I know you can,
then take that light and put it in your pocket and let your hand surround it and as you move about, let it keep you warm
remember though, light is best shared - that’s when it picks up it’s spectrums, when it’s moving through space - so
pass it onto someone else before too long
bye for now.

A beautiful reminder. Thank you. Reminds me of the song, “Little Light” by The Pairs, that I saw live in the depth of dark midwinter when we were all desperate for light.
Hand-hugs around the light back at you, my friend.
